A Day of Celebration: The Women’s Centre Glasgow Marks 30 Years
On Saturday, 21 September 2024, the Centre Glasgow celebrated its 30th anniversary with a vibrant event that brought the community together in honour of three decades of service.
From 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM, attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including delicious food, engaging workshops, and music, all set against the backdrop of the Centre’s beautiful garden.
The event was a testament to the vital work the Centre has done to provide a safe and supportive space for women in Glasgow.
Over the years, the Women’s Centre has offered essential services such as counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), holistic therapies, and mental well-being support, making a significant impact in the lives of many women.
Members of the Scottish Parliament congratulated the Women’s Centre on this remarkable milestone, recognising its importance in fostering community and empowerment.
The anniversary celebration was an opportunity for the public to show their support and appreciation for the invaluable services that the Centre continues to provide.
