In 2024 and 2025, the Women's Centre Glasgow joyfully hosted several Clothes Cafés, creating a welcoming space for our community to come together and explore a treasure trove of second-hand clothing, all at no cost.

These delightful events provided an opportunity for women to browse through a thoughtfully curated selection of donated garments, allowing them to choose items that resonated with their personal style and needs.

More than just a shopping experience, the Clothes Cafés became a cherished gathering place where attendees could enjoy a comforting cup of tea or coffee, engage in heartfelt conversations, and forge new friendships.

Our focus was on fostering a sense of community and connection, embracing the spirit of sharing, and empowering women through accessible fashion.

While our primary aim was not fundraising, we believe that the true value of these events lay in the sense of camaraderie they created and the resources that were kept in circulation, championing sustainable practices within our local area.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who generously donated clothing and participated in these events.
