Older woman giving reiki energy to female client

Reiki

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that promotes balance and harmony within the recipient, facilitating the body's natural healing processes.

Originating from Japan, the term “Reiki” combines two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning universal spirit, and “Ki,” referring to life force energy.

This practice operates on the principle that all living beings possess an inherent energy that flows through them.

When this energy is impeded or blocked, it can lead to physical or emotional ailments.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner channels energy through their hands, gently placing them on or near the recipient’s body. Just like a flowing stream, this energy moves freely to the parts of the body that need it most, alleviating pain and reducing stress.

The process is entirely non-invasive, allowing individuals to relax deeply and let go of tension.

Reiki is compatible with all other forms of healing, including conventional medicine, surgical procedures, psychological therapies, and various alternative practices, making it a versatile complement to any health regimen.
